Buying a robe online is easy until you reach the size menu. Kids grow fast, ages run big and small, and nobody wants a robe that is too short by Christmas. Here is the simple way we recommend choosing a size for our kids' animal robes.
Start with your child's height, not their age
Age is only a rough guide. Two eight-year-olds can be several inches apart in height, so measure your child standing up, without shoes, and match that number to the chart below.

Between two sizes? Size up
If your child falls right on the line between two sizes, we suggest the larger one. A little extra room means the robe still fits after a growth spurt, and a roomier robe is cozier to curl up in.

- Kids Shark Hooded Towel Poncho: one size, made for kids about 6 to 10 years old. Our 6-year-old model is 4 ft 3 in tall and it falls just above his knees.
The fox and husky robes are unisex, so they work for boys and girls, and both are machine washable for easy care.

Our Women's Cow Hooded Robe comes in Medium (fits about 4 ft 11 in to 5 ft 5 in) and Large (fits about 5 ft 5 in to 5 ft 9 in). If you are between sizes, size up for a roomier fit.
